Guidelines for Weddings at Countryside

• Weddings should be scheduled to start by 4:00 pm.
• Cost of the wedding includes the sanctuary, rehearsal and wedding, minister, seven marriage classes, organist, sound technician, wedding hostess, custodian and candles. Contact the church office for current fees at 913-262-1000.
• It is requested that the bride and groom attend four church services while taking the marriage class.
• Bridal party will have access to the facility two and 1/2 hours prior to the wedding
• Alcohol is strictly prohibited on the grounds of Countryside. If this rule is not adhered to the wedding will be canceled and all monies forfeited.
• Rice and birdseed are not allowed on the grounds. Bubbles are okay.
• No real flower petals are allowed in the sanctuary. Flower girls must use artificial flower petals.
• Photography during the ceremony should be discussed with the presiding minister prior to the ceremony.
• Stationary video cameras may be used from Choir Loft (on the north side of the altar) or in the balcony.
