Countryside hosts Boy Scout Troop 189. 
They are an active camping troop with many Eagle Scouts.

Philmont High Adventure, Early Aug. 2006

Our troop won 2 crews to attend Philmont in August, 2006.  Our scouts will be getting trained and fit for the trek in the months before they go.  The rules of Philmont apply for those that can attend, of course.  Deposits due, turn in to Gary Akers.
