Our Mission at Countryside is to:
|
Are you a first time visitor?
|
A Greeting from Senior Minister, Gary Armour
|
Helping people who are seeking God
and teaching them how to have a vibrant
relationship with Christ as Lord is our
first priority.. Your concerns and needs
are important to us. Perhaps you have a
special question about your faith. Or you
may have a desire to pray but you don't
know how. You may have lost hope and
are struggling with disappointment. You
may just be looking for a new family of
believers with whom you would like to
grow spiritually. We invite you to visit the
other pages on this site and learn about
how we may be able to assist you with
your spiritual journey. We encourage you
to come on a Sunday to experience God's
amazing grace through worship!
We have dynamic worship, inspired preaching, motivating Bible
study, and vital ministries for children, youth, and adults in varying
stages of life.
Music is an important part of our life as a community of faith, and we
have a traditional chancel and bell choir as well as a contemporary
praise team. Prayer is a positive component in all our ministries. If
you have prayer concerns or special needs, please feel free to email
any one of the ministerial staff, and we will be glad to include you in
our weekly prayers.
We strive to live "lighthouse lifestyles." Our church building is lighted
at night as a reminder to us of our challenge by Jesus to be a "light
to the world." The twin steeples mark the two centers of worship on
the campus at Countryside Christian Church. The majestic spires
point to the sovereignty of God. They prompt us to look to God for the
hope of eternal life that is God's free gift through Christ. (John 3:16)
If you have questions, drop us an email. Thanks for taking a look at
Countryside Christian Church.
Gary Armour
Senior Minister

The red chalice is an integral
image in the Disciples of Christ
denomination. The chalice
represents the centrality of
communion to the life of the
church. The cross of St. Andrew is
a reminder of the ministry of each
person and the importance of
evangelism, and it recalls the
denomination's Scottish
Presbyterian ancestry. The
symbol was designed in 1969.
Because most congregations call
themselves "Christian Churches",
the chalice has become a simple
way to identify Disciples of Christ
Churches through signage,
letterhead, and other forms of
publicity.
May God's richest blessings be with you!
