Countryside Child Development Center is a ministry of Countryside Christian Church. Our mission is to honor God and share the love of Christ by loving and nuturing His children. We strive to provide a rich curriculum offering learning opportunities that will enhance a child's spritiual, intellectual, social, emotional and physical development. Children will experience free exploration time in learning centers, wonderful planned classroom projects, daily Chapel time, science, math, music, art, early literacy development, and outdoor fun. Our program is licensed by the State of Kansas.
Our Program
Caterpillar Room
Children who are 12 months of age and walking steadily up to 2 years of age will enjoy this lively social environment. Our daily routine includes singing and dancing, free exploration, weekly themes, and plenty of snuggle time. Countryside CDC maintains a low child to teach ratio of 1:5 so your child will have plenty of one on one time wtih his or her teacher. Tuition is $115 monthly per day enrolled.
Sunshine Room
Children ages 2-3 love learning about playing with others and taking on new adventures daily. Our teachers are talented at sparking their need for curiosity and discovery. Incorporating music, stories, art, and developmentally-appropriate activities, our teachers preserve routine daily schedules giving children a feeling of security and ownership. Teacher to child ratio is 1:6. Tuition is $110 monthly per day enrolled.
Butterfly Room
Three and four year olds will experience classroom structure, gain independence, and form an understanding of appropriate peer interaction. Days filled with celebrating childhood and wonder are coupled with fine and gross motor development, cognitive growth, social and emotional maturation and nuturing a love for learning that will last a lifetime. The ratio for the Butterfly Room is 1 teacher to 7 chidlren. Tuition is $105 monthly per day enrolled.
Our Curriculum
Countryside Child Development Center has combined the expertise of early childhood professionals over its 40+ year history to create a tailor-made curriculum that embodies developmentally appropriate activities and benchmarks for children. Our teachers use this curriculum as a foundation for their classroom preparations, yet also incorporating their own unique talents and creativity that meets the needs of each individual child and classroom.
