Worship

Worship at Countryside varies at each service time. Communion is served weekly at all services. The Lord’s Table is open to all.

Chapel Service – 8 am
The Chapel is located to the right of the church office. Come to our main upper entrance, enter the office straight ahead, and turn right. This service is intimate and usually lasts about 35 – 45 minutes. Our Preaching Team of lay leaders and ministerial staff share preaching duties in this service.

ACCESS with People in Progress Band – 9:30 am

Held in our sanctuary, this time of worship is accompanied by our People in Progress Band with keyboard, guitar, drums and fantastic vocals! At ACCESS we are very informal, and change things up from time to time in an effort to engage all of the senses through the weeks. Worship is led by PIP Band leader Rhonda Frisbee, and Rev. Suzi Goldt is the primary preacher. The service lasts approximately one hour. The sanctuary is to the left of the main entry on the upper level.

Traditional Service with Choir and Bells – 11 am
If you enjoy a great pipe organ, you’ll love this service! Our Chancel Choir and Bell Choir complete the musical accompaniment to this service which includes traditional and newer hymns, preaching by our primary preacher Rev. Suzi Goldt, and thoughtful prayers. The service lasts approximately one hour, and is in the sanctuary which is on the upper level to the left of the main entry.

Becoming a member
Becoming a member is simple. We invite you to contact a minister to express your intention to join. We will schedule a time at one of the worship services to make a profession of faith by repeating these words: “I believe that Jesus is the Christ, the son of the Living God, and I accept him as my Lord and Savior” and then to be baptized by immersion.

If you have been baptized in any Christian denomination, we do not expect you to be baptized again. We will however ask you to reaffirm your faith by repeating the statement above.

Infant/Children’s Blessing
We urge parents to bring their children for a blessing and to dedicate themselves as parents to raise their child to be followers of Jesus Christ. Generally we do not baptize anyone who is too young to make a profession of faith; however, please speak with a minister if you have questions regarding this issue.
